The woman behind the door.
I am Jenna Smart. I do not arrive at this work by accident, and neither do you. What you'll read below is the only version of the story I tell in public.
Why I started
A rebellion, then a vocation.
I came to this work the way most women come to anything truly theirs — by refusing the script. I was promised polite ambition, quiet appetites, a tidy life. I wanted none of it.
The first man who knelt for me did so in a hotel room in London, eight years ago. He thanked me. I understood, in that minute, that I had been a mistress my entire life and had only just remembered.
Mission
To remake the obedient.
This is not theatre for the sake of theatre. My practice is structured, sustained, and surgical. I take men who arrive scattered and return them to themselves — sharper, more useful, and entirely accountable.
